THE GREAT GAME OF BUSINESS

"Entitlement or Incentive?
How to Design Your 2011 Bonus Plan"

A bonus or incentive plan can be a powerful motivator and can help drive improved financial results. But, if not done correctly, a bonus plan can simply be a cash drain and can produce an "entitlement mentality" in your company.

And, in this economy you may not have the profit to fund a bonus plan. Your people are probably working harder than ever, so how do you keep your team motivated and engaged?

Attend this month's breakfast seminar and you'll return to your company armed with the information you need to get it right. This year, make your bonus plan an investment in your future profitability rather than "pay now and hope for improvements later."

  • Special Guest Speaker: Mark Richman, president of Skeleton Key, a software development and I.T. services firm in south St. Louis. Mark will tell us about the evolution of his company’s incentive plan and the financial results he obtained.
  • Great Game Coach Bill Collier will present the “Bucket Bonus Plan” … How it works and why to use it instead of a traditional quarterly or year-end bonus plan
  • How to make your bonus plan "self-funding"

Bill Collier is the St. Louis area coach for The Great Game of Business.  He has been an entrepreneur and business owner for over 20 years. His first company, BC Group International, successfully practiced open book management for 10+ years until Bill sold the company in 2005. Both in his own businesses and helping client companies, Bill has designed, implemented and run numerous incentive bonus plans.
